I never teach my pupils. I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn. ~Albert Einstein

About the Session

Spreadsheet are the "least taught and used" application that everyone has access to (Numbers-Excel-Google Sheets). Few know how to use them to their full potential as data collectors, data bases and information generators. Google sheets and forms make it possible to collect, organize, and make sense of data and distribute the resulting information to the decision makers to make the process of "data driven decision making" possible.  Brian finds this process easy to understand because the people who design the tools are nerds, just like him. The process is logical and mathematically driven. Learning to use spreadsheet means you will begin to truly understand what a mathematical function is (a term you haven't used since your last algebra class). These time saving functions that are built into all spreadsheets allow you to do things you do not even know are possible.
