Session One Punch Man:

iPhone. iPad. iMovie

Please sign up for the session here.

About the session

The smart phones in our pockets are way smarter than what we use them for.  iPads, too - we don't always have to look for fancy new apps.  Begin with the basics: iMovie.  While this is much more complex on the computer, the iPhone and iPad iMovie app is simple, easy to navigate, and holds the power to capture any incredible moment in your classroom to cherish forever.  To share with parents.  To let students watch for reflection.  To celebrate the incredible learning going on in your classroom.  To make what you do transparent in a cool, sleek, sophisticated movie.  That's right - you can make a movie in minutes.  Find out how. Come play.

**Needed for session: iPhone or iPad with the iMovie app.**

About Michael Coleman

Michael calls Augusta, Georgia home where he grew up a military brat, graduated middle and high school from the Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School and learned to respect his mama like any good southern boy should! Here he fell in love with audio visual production early on and is passionate about movie-making and film.  He engages with his students by recognizing that an average child in the 21st century spends more time in front of a screen than ever before.  He sees that as the perfect opportunity to engage them in innovative teaching and learning experiences, ripe with chances for garnering creativity.  He lives what he preaches, evident in his YouTube Channel named MiKole, an apt merging of Mike+Coleman.  He is fun, goofy, with always a smile on his face, though watch out... he is also a fourth degree black belt in Taekwondo with various other martial arts training.
